In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Eirini Association proudly presents the completion of a significant donation made in August 2023: the full renovation of the Gynecology Clinic at the Laiko Hospital of Athens. This donation included not only the total renovation of the clinic’s space but also the replacement of all old medical equipment with new, state-of-the-art machines.

The project aimed to improve the quality of healthcare services provided to the thousands of women who visit the clinic annually. With the new, modern medical equipment, the clinic now offers higher standards of care. Furthermore, this project not only enhances the working conditions of the medical staff but also supports the training of gynecology residents with the advanced equipment now available.

The inauguration of the renovated clinic took place in October 2023, in the presence of the President of the Eirini Association, Mrs. Nefeli Georganta, the Director of Laiko Hospital, Mr. Theofanis Roidis, and the Director of the Gynecology Clinic, Dr. Antonios Lagkadas, as well as the entire medical and administrative team.
