On Sunday, February 11, 2024, the annual cutting of the New Year’s cake took place at the “Tyrtaios” Sports Club for People with Disabilities, surrounded by a festive atmosphere. Mr. Dimitris Tsigkounis, the communications officer of the “Irene” Welfare Association, attended the event and received a commemorative plaque for the continuous support the association provides to the athletes of “Tyrtaios.”

Following the ceremony, athletes were awarded for their participation and achievements in the 2023 competitions. Once again, we witnessed joy on the faces of all those receiving their awards. The pride and emotion we felt were indescribable, knowing that we played a role in this.
We thank all the athletes who pave new paths with their determination and endless patience. We will continue to stand by them, supporting them as they take one step further toward realizing their dreams!
