IRENE Association supports Global Brigades Greece with a medical equipment donation for the launch of a new program.
Believing firmly in the need for equal access to healthcare, the IRENE Association made a significant donation of medical equipment. This donation is not simply a form of support—it marks the beginning of a new program that would not have been possible without the Association’s contribution.

The new equipment includes:

• Portable electrocardiographs (2 units)
• Gynecological ultrasound machine
• Portable autorefractor
• Examination lens
• Portable tonometer
• Eye chart
• Diagnostic trial lens sets and frames for eye examinations

Thanks to this equipment, Global Brigades is launching:

• A mobile ophthalmology clinic for individuals aged 65+, in collaboration with municipal senior centers and local authorities
• Eye screenings for unaccompanied minors across 15 shelters in its national network
• Strengthening of internal medicine services at the Athens Polyclinic, inaugurated in December 2024

The contribution of IRENE Association enables thousands of vulnerable individuals to receive healthcare services, with respect for human dignity.
