In facilities that host the most sensitive early ages, access to basic living conditions is not merely necessary – it is fundamental.
The Social Welfare Association “Irene” proceeded with the supply and installation of two new solar water heaters at the Kynosargous Children’s Home, a structure of the “Children’s Home” Foundation, thereby covering the needs of three residential buildings where 90 children are accommodated, including 25 infants and 50 toddlers. The facility employs 15 staff members on a daily basis, responsible for the safety, care, and development of the children.
The “Irene” Association, also responding to the needs of the “Children’s Home” Foundation, undertook at its own expense the supply and installation of two 24,000 BTU air-conditioning units at the Papastrateio Children’s Home in Athens, contributing to the improvement of daily life in a structure hosting 105 children, including 70 toddlers and 35 infants.
This donation was implemented within the framework of cooperation for the support of the structures of the Organization “Together for Children”, aiming to improve living conditions and strengthen the daily well-being of all.
