Humane care conditions, in a space that truly needs them.

The IRENE Association continues its uninterrupted donation to public health with another significant intervention: the delivery of 35 new electric hospital beds with mattresses, as well as 35 bedside cabinets with integrated overbed tables and commodes, specially designed to meet the needs of the Hematology Clinic at the General Hospital of Athens “LAIKO.”

This clinic hosts patients who often require long-term hospitalization, and the need for comfort, practicality, and dignity in their daily struggle is imperative. The new donation comes to cover essential shortages and to meaningfully upgrade the conditions of care, both for the hospitalized patients and for the medical and nursing staff.

With this action, the total contribution of the IRENE Association now exceeds €830,000, clearly reaffirming its steadfast goal: to support critical structures of social welfare and healthcare, without requesting or accepting donations from the public.
