Two years after the “Daniel” disaster, the IRENE Welfare Association remains steadily by the side of Karditsa, actively supporting the local community. From 2023 to date, 12 schools have been supported with a total offer of €76,000, because for us, support after a disaster is a permanent commitment.
In September 2025, another project was completed: the 2nd Kindergarten of Palamas, which had been flooded with 1.5 meters of water. After a full renovation, interior and exterior works, painting, and replacement of all frames, the school has regained its vitality.
The children are returning to a bright, safe, and colorful space, ready to be filled with their voices and dreams.
