With great emotion and a sense of responsibility, the Irene Association made a substantial donation for the children of the Athens General Children’s Hospital “P. & A. Kyriakou”. 🕊️

We donated 5 dialysis machines, replacing the existing ones with modern, specially designed for children, thus strengthening the only pediatric dialysis department in the country. This donation is particularly important, as the new machines ensure a less painful and safer procedure for the children who fight their personal battle every day. The previous machines, while serving the need, were not adapted for the children’s body weight, making the process more demanding and difficult.

With this donation, we seek to improve the quality of life of our young heroes, offering them greater comfort and safety in the dialysis process. Because every child deserves to live with less pain and more dignity.” 💙
