The Eirini Association has donated an ABR (Auditory Brainstem Response) system to the ENT Clinic of the University Hospital of Ioannina (P.G.N.I.). This device is crucial for hearing assessments in children, enabling early detection of sensorineural hearing loss and supporting patients in need of cochlear implants. It is the most effective method for evaluating auditory function in infants and children who are unable to cooperate with other testing methods due to age or disability.
The donation not only equips the Audiology Clinic of the ENT department but also paves the way for establishing a cochlear implant center in Ioannina.

The following thank-you letter was shared by the P.G.N.I. Administration and the Director of the ENT Clinic, Professor Georgios Psychogios:
