Konstantinos Avgerakis, a Physics graduate from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a scholarship recipient of the IRENE Welfare Association through the Hellenic Shipowners Association’s scholarship program for the academic year 2025–2026, is beginning his Master’s studies in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.

In a short interview at our offices, he shared the emotion he felt upon receiving the scholarship, his dream of becoming an academic researcher in theoretical physics, and how this support brings his future one step closer.
