Apostolos Karasakalidis, a graduate of the Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, is one of the emerging faces of academic excellence continuing his journey abroad with the support of IRENE Welfare Association.
Apostolos, a scholarship recipient for the 2025-2026 academic year under the Union Greek Shipowners’ Scholarship Program, is commencing his postgraduate studies in “Intellectual Property and ICT Law” at the renowned KU Leuven in Belgium – one of Europe’s leading law institutions in the fields of Intellectual Property and Technology Law.
In a personal message to the Association, he expressed his joy and gratitude for the support, noting that this scholarship represents not only significant financial assistance but also a vote of confidence in his vision to specialize in a cutting-edge field that shapes the future of legal science.
