The “Irene” Association has supported 94 public schools across Greece so far, through small and large actions that make a difference in the daily lives of pupils and educators.
This year, we wanted to make Christmas a little brighter for school communities across the country. That’s why we organized a Christmas contest with 8 festive prize packages – a symbolic number, as our Association celebrates 8 years of activity.
And what did the gifts include? Everything needed to give the classroom a festive touch! Each package contained a Christmas tree, decorating materials, and our special personal touch: materials for the pupils to create their own “Christmas Corner of Peace” – a small space full of inspiration, imagination, and messages of love and togetherness.
