The IRENE Association has completed the full renovation of the bathrooms at the Hatzipaterio Foundation, providing a space that adheres to the principles of accessibility, functionality, and safety.<\/p>\n

The layout of the spaces was designed so that wheelchair movement is facilitated, even when more than one wheelchair is present simultaneously in the main area. At the same time, bright and cheerful colors were chosen to enhance the children\u2019s well-being.<\/p>\n

This intervention is especially important, as many of the children at the Foundation are gaining the ability to independently use the restroom \u2014 a step toward independence with profound significance. The upgrade of the facilities also greatly facilitates the staff, both in daily care and the educational process.<\/p>\n

For the IRENE Association, the dignity of every child is non-negotiable. Through meaningful interventions, we stand against every stereotype that limits the rights of children with disabilities and defend what should be obvious: an environment that is equal, safe, and supportive.
