Painting at the Special Kindergarten of Heraklion, Attica

Caring for children also begins with the environment in which they spend an important part of their everyday lives.

The Social Welfare Association “Eirini” supported the Special Kindergarten of Nea Heraklion by donating the materials needed to repaint all the classrooms. The painting was carried out by specialised teams from the Municipality of Heraklion, Attica, allowing the children and teachers to return to a renewed, brighter, and more welcoming environment.

A school is not simply four walls. It is a place where children learn, create, communicate, and grow. That is why caring for and improving the school environment is a meaningful act of support. Dozens of litres of paint, along with various materials and colours, brought new life to the Special Kindergarten of Heraklion, reminding us that every change made for children can have a lasting and far-reaching impact.

The children’s smiles and the opportunity to provide them with a better environment for their everyday lives are our greatest reward and our motivation to continue supporting initiatives with a meaningful social impact.
